One Year Anniversary!

Today marks one year since I began to change my lifestyle and work for a healthier version of myself.  Here are some of my celebrations:

- I have lost 60 pounds ( 21% of my body weight)
- A quick and easy run is a 5k
- I no longer snore!  (Dan really likes this one.)
- My cholesterol is 151
- I am down almost 10 points on my BMI and have lost at least 12% body fat
- I can wear my wedding dress again (and yes I really did try it on the other day- silly but fun!)
- I've learned that going for a long walk, doing yoga, or going to spin class is a much better way to de-stress than sitting on the couch eating junk food.
- I can sit at an Angels baseball game and in an airplane seat soooo much more comfortably.
- I have muscles. . . that you can see!

While I still have some work to do I take joy in the small victories along the way.  Thank you to my family, friends, and training partners who have encouraged me and worked out with me.

Congrats on the success!! I just wanted to say something about a previous post that you had about whether to use blasts or 3 day embies ( I just saw it)and I want to be honest with you and I myself would have no qualms using 3 day embies. I too was confused and scared. But our precious baby boy is the result of a first try with a set of 3 day embies. In fact I have more 3 day embies to use for another try and I have no fears what so ever. I was told that blasts don't always survive the thaw well, they do better with fresh cycles. All 3 of our 3 day embies that they thawed survived the thaw.Honestly 13 is a really good number to work with and I don't feel it would be a waste of funds at all.But that is only my opinion. Bset of luck to you and if you have any questions at all feel free to contact me. -Megan My email is on my blog

E, what a great list. You have me beat on the 5K for sure! You are getting yourself ready to have a healthy PG, and for chasing toddlers! Congrats on such great milestones! Let's pray that when M comes back from vacation she will have great news for you! I know it is God's timing, but I am praying His timing is VERY VERY soon!

Wow, that is definitely worthy of a celebration! Great job! And, you're right, it really is a lifestyle change--not an easy one to make.
