A Plan of Attack!

My goal from now until our transfer is to lose 20 more pounds. I lost three this week so I need to lose 17 more. I am watching my calories and focusing on eating quality food and running 10 miles per week. Check out my ultra organized fridge that I stock every Sunday for the week:

My new favorite item is the Orowheat sandwich thins. And of course I love my 60 calorie sugar free pudding for my treat. My ultra favorite thing that I look forward to everyday is my light and fit vanilla yogurt with low fat granola and fresh blueberries. YUMMY!!! Portioning out my food ahead of time helps in convenience when I need to pack my breakfast and lunch in the morning and in avoiding overeating. (p.s. The Cheese Whiz on the top shelf is Dan's = )

On the adoption front. . .

We meet with our FET doctor on Monday. We have tons of questions and are excited to begin the transfer process.

We were notified by Snowflakes that we will begin the matching process on Friday, January 15th! We are very excited and are praying for a quick match that is just right for us.

I love how organized you are; I'm trying to get back to my own organized self, that always seems to fall away in the chaos of the last two months of the year. I like to do all my meal planning and prep on the weekends, so all I have to do is grab the pre-chopped veggies etc and cook on the weeknights. I also try to have snacks planned out for the kids like that for the same reason, if we don't have healthy things ready to grab we always go for the quick and tasty junk food. Sigh. It is tasty. lol

Good luck with your appt on Monday and with finding just the right match. I will be thinking lots about you and wishing for a smooth process to parenthood! xoxo

Wow! January 15th is just around the corner!! Thanks for keeping us posted!

Your fridge really motivated me to portion out my food ahead of time. Genius.

10 miles a week? That is awesome! Keep it up!!

Way to go! My husband and I also recently discovered the sandwich thins and love them. Glad your matching is happening soon, can't wait to hear more!

I have to admit I'm eating Haagen-Dazs rocky road with a sliced up banana as I admire your well-organized fridge. Not on the gestational diabetes eating plan, but totally worth it tonight. :-)
Would you like to come over in a week or so to help me organize my fridge? Totally serious about that.
Just wanted to let you know you were on my mind and I prayed for you and Dan today.
Much love,
Sheryl :-)
